According to developer Pocketpair, the issue with the new Palworld update is centered around a malfunction that is causing multiplayer save data to not load correctly when an older save is loaded. The developer team has released an announcement saying that they’ve “identified the cause” of the issue and are working on a fix, but they warn players not to load any multiplayer save data until they can put out a fix.
