Movie lovers, the moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here. On Sunday, March 10, Hollywood will gather to celebrate the 96th Annual Academy Awards. Some of the biggest filmmakers of the year get to gather and celebrate the works they’re responsible for. There will be appearances from some of your favorite talent to grace the big screen. Here’s what to expect from the Oscars 2024 ceremony.

What Time Do The Oscars Start?

The Oscars air from 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) to 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). Fashion fans can enjoy watching their favorites pose on the red carpet, with three different preshow options.

Where Can I Watch The Oscars Red Carpet Arrivals?

Coverage begins at 1:00 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) with ABC’s Countdown to the Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live! After that, George Pennacchio, Rachel Brown, Leslie Lopez and Roshumba Williams take over hosting duties for On the Red Carpet at the Oscars at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT).

The official pre-show, The Oscars Red Carpet Show, starts at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT), hosted by Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough.

On E!, Brunch at the Oscars kicks off at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT) and is co-hosted by Justine Sylvester, Zanna Roberts Rassi, and Nikki Garcia. They then hand hosting duties off to Laverne Cox for Live From E!: The Oscars at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT).

How Do I Watch The Oscars?

Who Is Hosting The Oscars?

Jimmy Kimmel is taking up hosting duties once again this year, marking his fourth time hosting. It’s ironic since, in his 2017 hosting debut, he commented, “This is my first time here, and the way you people go through hosts, it’s probably my last time here.”

What Films Were Nominated This Year?

You’ll see a lot of different talented actors and actresses honored for their work in some of this year’s biggest films. Many wonderful films will be recognized this year, including Killers of the Flower Moon, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Maestro, American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, and more.
