The Season of the Warlock is an upcoming comedy horror adventure game. The two-person indie studio enComplot announced today that their game would be joining Steam’s Big Adventure Event. The event exists to showcase and celebrate independently developed adventure games. It’s live now through the 24th of January.
The studio is excited to join the event and show off their gothic-inspired adventure game. Check out a teaser trailer below.
About The Season of the Warlock
Lord Alistair Ainsworth is at the University of Edgestow, giving a lecture on the enigmatic figure of Waldemar the Warlock. The word is that the warlock ruled over the land of Groldavia through the use of dark magic. The scholars that Alistair meets with wave their hands at his claims since there is no record of the warlock ever existing. Lord Alistair, frustrated, decides he should look for it in Groldavia.
There, he will find an imposing portrait of the warlock, which appears to be the depositary of Waldemar’s errant soul. The warlock’s soul still yearns for revenge and presents Lord Alistair with an offer he will not be able to resist… Or will he?
