Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3ย introduced a new aiming type to the game called the “Tactical Stance.” Also known as Tac Stance, this new gameplay mechanic is a fine line between the hip fire and full ADS inย Warzoneย andย MW3ย Season 2. Now, in a new update, the Tac Stance is so buffed that it removes the recoil on your weapons, which is totally suitable forย dominating the close-range combat!

Before the start of Season 2, Tac Stance wasn’t a big deal in Warzone and MW3. Sure, the feature had its shining days in pre-season when streamers like Zlaner and JayGod were figuring it out. But right now, it’s way more overpowered to use than it used to be.

There are two major buffs on the Tac Stance in Season 2. The first one is the general accuracy increase on how recoilless you can shoot your weapons with it, which applies to all the guns in the game. The other is for weapons in the game with Tac Stance buffs like theย Striker-9. For more information on buffed and nerfed weapons, make sure to check the article below. Guns with an accuracy buff in Season 2 are performing better with the Tac Stance aiming mode.

So the broken rule about the Tac aiming is that you can now shoot most of theย MW3‘s weapons in the game with no recoil. And if that’s the case, does that mean that aiming down sights is useless now? The answer is yes and no. Yes, it’s much better to use the Tac Stance while fighting close to mid-range combats. And no, if you want to hit a long-range target, Tactical aiming isn’t your best option.

Of course, taking advantage of the Tac Stance requires no certain tools for activation. However, if you use some of the attachments in the game, the recoil control and bullet spread of the Tac Stance mode in Warzone and MW3 will become even better in stats. The attachments mentioned above are available for almost every weapon in the game, allowing for better accuracy while using Tactical Stance aiming mode.

You can easily use the Tac Stance inย Warzoneย andย MW3ย by pressing the down button on the D-pad while aiming down sights. If you’re using a mouse and keyboard, Tac Stance activation is done by your Melee preset button, which is V if you haven’t changed it manually.
