In its debut, this gacha game came with 16 characters, but this number will increase with each update. Among the special Agents, there are different ranks that work in various ways and change according to the game mode. With so many options of Agents to pull for in Zenless Zone Zero, it’s necessary to know the strengths and weaknesses of each one.
C Tier
- Billy Kid (A-Rank/Physical/Attack):
A DPS like Billy is up to this tier mainly because he has no Support options available for the same Attribute among the other Physical Agents that are all Attack type. So Billy relies more on the help of his loyal hare companions! - Corin Wickes (A-Rank/Physical/Attack):
Corin is a character to use with Charged Attacks, but she is a bit shy about doing it alone. So it would help if you had a character that Stuns enemies quickly for her, or else this maid won’t be able to stand out as a DPS.
B Tier
- Anton Ivanov (A-Rank/Electric/Attack):
Thanks to his electrifying personality and ability, this Agent is another DPS with which you can keep enemies in shock. His skill is activated every time you use his 4-hit combo. - Piper Wheel (A-Rank/Physical/Anomaly):
The cute Piper loves to be the center of attention, so if you want to get the most out of her, you will need to use her a lot of on-field time. This way, this DPS can charge her EX Spinning Slash. - Anby Demara (A-Rank/Electric/Stun):
The aloof Anby is a very calculating Agent who knows how to support others by buffing their abilities and setting the stage by using her Stain on all enemies. Plus, this girl works wonders with her own team and other Electric characters. - Ben Bigger (A-Rank/Fire/Defence):
Even though Ben is a Stun character, he is the best tank because he doesn’t use his Defence to protect his teammates; he buffs them. Also, this huge bear will protect your finances as the best accountant in New Eridu! - Nicole Demara (A-Rank/Ether/Support):
The flirtatious and stingy Nicole manages her resources well and her energy, making her the best Support. The leader of the Cunning Hares takes advantage of her teammates’ skills and has so much synergy with them to activate their Additional Abilities.
A Tier
- Grace Howard (S-Rank/Electric/Anomaly):
Grace excels as a DPS by benefitting from several of the Electric characters to make a mono-Electric team, gathering the most Electric energy and having stun enemies. Grace’s brain is always active, using all her energy for her next tactic! - Nekomiya Mana (S-Rank/Physical/Attack):
This surly kitty always has her claws ready to attack, so she’s perfect as a DPS. To sharpen her claws further, be sure to use her Additional Ability. - Soldier 11 (S-Rank/Fire/Attack):
No. 11 lights the flames on the battlefield, doing maximum damage with her Additional Ability, and therefore deserves this place as one of the best DPS. - Koleda Belobog (S-Rank/Fire/Stun):
Koleda is an expert at leading a company and Stun enemies. This Agent specializes in teaming up with other Fire characters as a Support, activating her team’s Additional Abilities. A construction company also needs to demolish and use explosives. - Lucy (A-Rank/Fire/Support):
Lucy is Piper’s perfect companion right now in Zenless Zone Zero due to the lack of Physical Support. This Agent will help her companions increase the battle temperature and gain their Additional Ability.
S Tier
- Rina (S-Rank/Electric/Support):
Rina is the expert when it comes to electing her clients or her enemies. This makes this master puppeter the best Support, but more so for Agents with her own Attribute Electric. - Soukaku (A-Rank/Ice/Support):
Despite being a Support, Soukaku gains an incredible ATK buff, but the best part is that she can transfer it to her teammates using Chain Attack or Quick Assist. So, all that power boost can reach your DPS in the team to freeze everyone out.
SS Tier
- Von Lycaon (S-Rank/Ice/Stun):
Lycaon is a really good boy and one of the best Stunt characters. He has a swift reaction speed, which helps prepare the enemies for your DPS Agent. - Ellen Joe (S-Rank/Ice/Attack):
Ellen is the best DPS of Version 1.0 who benefits from swimming with other Ice Attribute Agents in Zenless Zone Zero. Ideally, this shark girl should get her Additional Ability as soon as possible.
As a gacha game, more agents will arrive in Zenless Zone Zero, so the teams and meta will also change. In addition, players will have to face the Power Creep with new characters, so it is best to know all the changes with the kits and the following Agents coming to the game.
