The White Lotus Season 3 Adds Parker Posey to the Cast With Other New Guests
While we don’t know what to expect for season 3 of The White Lotus, its previous two seasons are a strong indicator. The series follows guests and workers at a location of the luxurious hotel chain. The satire pokes fun at the rich while hilarious and dramatic antics are exhibited by the guests and the people trying to ensure they have a lovely stay. The first two seasons have ended in death, so we can expect that someone will not be going home from their trip to Thailand.
Previous seasons have gathered new and veteran stars. Last season saw the return of Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries. The newcomers that arrived in Italy included F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Will Sharpe, and Haley Lu Richardson. The first season, which was set in Hawaii, featured Coolidge and Gries with Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario, Connie Britton, Fred Hechinger, Sydney Sweeney, Steve Zahn, and Lukas Gage.
Like many HBO productions, The White Lotus season 3 could set up another great run at various award shows. It has been nominated for 43 Emmys and has won 10 of those nominations. For the Golden Globes, it has been nominated for five awards and has won two.
