The Witcher 3 was a very successful game, and Netflix caught a big potential and adapted it into a series. The adaptation also became very successful during its two seasons. While we’ve been waiting for an announcement for season 3, Netflix announces a prequel. This was also expected, and we knew the things were not the same with the other The Witcher series. The company also announced the release date for The Witcher: Blood Origin with a poster. Here is the most recent news for the game.

The Witcher: Blood Origin Release Date Revealed

The announcement happened at the TUDUM event; the details were shared on the company’s Twitter account after the announcement. The release date is on Christmas, December 25th. There aren’t any videos about the series, but we expect the other promotions soon. The cast includes Sophia Brown as Éile, Michelle Yeoh as Scían, Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall, Mirren Mack as Merwyn, Lenny Henry as Balor, Jacob Collins-Levy as Eredin, Lizzie Annis as Zacaré, Huw Novelli as Callan “Brother Death,” Francesca Mills as Meldof, Amy Murray as Fenrik, Nathaniel Curtis as Brían, Zach Wyatt as Syndril, and Dylan Moran as Uthrok One-Nut.

Worlds will collide.

It’s great to see another series from the same universe. The Witcher’s two seasons were both successful, and the fans are excited for the third. Netflix confirmed that there would be a third season for the series. Blood Origin isn’t something you should be worried about in the other series. Both series will run separately, and we don’t expect any bad news for the original series.

Netflix also made many exciting announcements except for The Witcher: Blood Origin. The company gives the best news in their TUDUM event. They also show videos from behind the scenes, special talks with the cast, and more.

In relation, CD Projekt is making the fourth The Witcher game. We’re hoping Netflix will support the game’s story with the next seasons of the series.
