After an explosive second season of Netflix’s The Witcher, fans cannot wait for The Witcher Season 3 to come out. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that production has started on The Witcher Season 3. The streaming giant Netflix has now also revealed Robbie Amell of the Amazon Original series Upload, Meng’er Zhang of Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, and more have been cast as new characters to join Geralt (Henry Cavill), Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) in the next season of the hit book to a video game to streaming series.
Robbie Amell and Meng’er Zhang aren’t the only newbies to join Netflix’s The Witcher series. They will also be joined by Hugh Skinner of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Christelle Elwin of Bloods. The new actors that have been added to The Witcher cast are said to play characters that fans of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books should be very familiar with.
Robbie Amell will be joining as an elven fighter named Gallatin, who leads an army of guerrilla Scoia’tael fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard. His loyalty to his people and his fearlessness to speak his truth ultimately leads him on a collision course with the elven sorceress Francesca (Mecia Simson) overpower.
Meng’er Zhang is set to play fierce and talented huntress Milva, a human adopted by the dryads of Brokilon Forest.
Hugh Skinner will star as royal playboy Prince Radovid and younger brother to King Vizimir (Ed Birch).
And last but not least, Christelle Elwin joins the cast of The Witcher Season 3 as Mistle. Mistle is part of a gang of street-hard misfit teenagers called The Rats who steal from the rich and give to themselves(and sometimes the poor).
