If you were into Telltale’s lineup of hit titles, you might remember The Wolf Among Us. It was a lesser played but highly acclaimed title for its rich storytelling and solid graphics (for its time). The Wolf Among Us 2 was announced, but unfortunately was canceled due to Telltale’s premature shutdown. In a surprise twist though, The Wolf Among Us 2 has been announced at The Game Awards. This was, by all means, entirely unexpected but is a very welcome surprise.

The Wolf Among Us 2

The Wolf Among Us 2 will continue the story of Bigby Wolf (otherwise known as the Big Bad Wolf). Along with him will likely be Snow White, the Magic Mirror, and of course, many others from the Fables comic book series. As detailed on the announcement post, Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette will be back to voice both of the main characters. Not only that, but many members of the original development team will be around to develop the game as well. Overall, this is shaping up to potentially be the sequel that fans like myself have been waiting for. If you’d like to see the full teaser trailer, you can find that here.

Haven’t seen or played The Wolf Among Us before? It’s a story rich adventure game developed and published by Telltale Games. It follows the story of Bigby Wolf, a detective who’s been faced with the murder of a girl. As you progress, though, that becomes the least of your worries. Your choices truly matter in this game, so be sure to choose wisely. You can purchase the game for $19.99 on PC (Steam), Xbox (360 and One), Playstation (3 and 4), and most mobile stores. If you’re reading this article at the time of release, though, The Wolf Among Us 1 is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store.

This isn’t the only news that came out of The Game Awards. You can find a lot of it throughout our website, but a notable release is Hellblade 2 on the upcoming Xbox Series X. Otherwise, are you excited for The Wolf Among Us 2? If you played the first season, what were your thoughts on it? Be sure to let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for your news, reviews, and more!
