If you haven’t already heard of Ashton Hall, then buckle in because I’m about to lay it all on you. The Florida influencer posts to TikTok and Instagram about his daily routines that, well, are a bit unconventional compared to the every day, working person. While the videos themselves are nothing worth conversing over, how they are edited and what Hall decides to leave in them is funny. Have you ever thought about starting your day at three in the morning? If you aren’t, then Ashton Hall is laughing at you from his million-dollar apartment.
The fitness influencer has become known over just about every social platform as of late for being a fraud. A typical video starring the ripped fitness coach would involve a time-stamped morning routine beginning at three in the morning. Throughout the routine, he will periodically open and pour a glass bottle filled with water into a bowl of ice to dip his face into, followed by some random, off-camera woman offering him food and a few shots of him discussing some made-up number of items with another person via a video call.
Once all that’s out of the way, you can find Ashton running laps and training around his city while being followed by an SUV with a camera crew inside. I’m unsure of what he’s training for, but he ensures that all of it is recorded at all times. After several of his videos started making the rounds this last week, viewers have been commenting with their own opinions.
“For 6 hours he did nothing but Tom foolery”
Now, what is it about any of this that makes him a fraud? Well, now that his videos have become popular, people have started coming out of the woodwork to reveal their previous interactions with him. One person on Twitter even claimed to consult for Hall’s brand, only to find out that Hall didn’t have any idea what he was doing nor the funds to back it up.
Additionally, netizens dug into Hall’s past and discovered that he attended Alcorn State University on a football scholarship and tried out for the NFL. However, likely because of his statistics, he was rejected, forcing him into the life we find him in now. Fortunately for him (or unfortunately, depending on your thoughts), his newfound stardom has boosted his TikTok page to nearly ten million followers. Sure, many of his followers are just trolls who want to see what he does next to spam various comments. But at the end of the day, he’s embracing this new direction his life’s taken.
