Modders always come up with ideas to add to games that can be useful to the community or bring joy and laughs. Starfield already has some hilarious mods, but its flashlight ones show how creative the modding community is after a few days with the game. The mechanic is not the most useful as much of the game is bright enough. At times, you may find that you need extra light. In those cases, you might as well keep yourself company with these mods that put some surprising symbols and faces in the center of the light.
A Spotlight on the Hilarious Flashlight Mods in Starfield
Phil Spencer Flashlight
someone has created a Starfield mod that adds Phil Spencer to your flashlight 😅 https://t.co/OE7QDsddt5 pic.twitter.com/MbL3DM55Sh

As shown by Tom Warren of The Verge, someone modded Phil Spencer’s face onto the flashlight in Starfield. The Xbox leader is highly respected in the industry and gaming community. If you are one of the people who like him, then maybe you can have him tag along on your galactic adventures. The light does not have a far range, but it will come in handy to let Spencer guide you through the darkness in dark buildings or at night when on a desolate planet.
The mod was created by Nexus user Maquinaremos. The modder has been putting in good work so far beyond putting Spencer’s face into the RPG. One of the game’s leading characters is Sarah Morgan, who has some new outfits thanks to Maquinaremos. One gives her a pink Barbie outfit, and another is a blue jacket. Whether it is related to Spencer’s face or Barbie-inspired outfits, this is a modder you will want to keep an eye on throughout your time downloading mods for Bethesda’s space RPG.
Enter the (Nicolas) Cage
As amusing as it is to see Spencer, one of the flashlight mods in Starfield that is more hilarious is the Nicolas Cage one. At least for Spencer, it was a nice portrait of the executive. We saw some of his upper chest and shoulder that did not make it weird to pop him up in the environment as you looked around a dark room. The mod for the face of the Raising Arizona star gets too close, making it both funny and a bit creepy. If only the NPCs responded to the light as it would surely frighten away any enemies coming your way.
Brandoman was the modder and Cage fan who brought his face into the game. This is the modder’s only creation in Starfield, but work can be seen in Cyberpunk 2077 with new music and icons, over 30 Fallout 4 mods, and fun main menu-related mods for Fallout 76.
Starfield is out of early access on September 6 and will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. For Game Pass subscribers, you will be able to download it for free.
