When employees come together, it’s a beautiful thing. The relationships you build in the workplace are sometimes stronger than you ever expected. One workplace in Florida proved that when they came together, they gave a co-worker the most magnificent and heartwarming gift of all this holiday season. He expected that they were going to announce information regarding their annual Christmas shindig. Instead, they gave him and his family something they would never forget.
In the video posted by @dream_g1rlxx, all the co-workers gather for what they believe to be a regular staff meeting. While their presumed manager tells everybody why he’s gathered them, an ecstatic co-worker Norman can be seen smiling happily in the background. He thinks it’s just a regular day at work. The manager announces, “We are unable to have a holiday party this year. Sorry.” Norman jokingly stops smiling and throws up his hands. At that time, the manager continues, “Everybody knows about Norman’s journey trying to adopt.”
With all the attention turned to Norman, he throws up his hands, cheering. He never expects what comes next. The manager tells Norman that his co-workers “decided it was more important for us to donate all that money to you and your wife.” When he finishes telling Norman the surprise news, Norman looks shocked, bringing his hands to his face. You can tell he’s blown away by the fact that his co-workers decided to use the funds from their party to give him the best Christmas ever.
After the announcement, Norman is all smiles, and his co-workers clap and surround him in hugs and warmth. He gives his manager a hug and holds back tears. TikToker @dream_g1rlxx said that Norman and his wife are adopting a baby girl, and they’re so happy for him. As she said, “Never seen this man cry before!” but this was enough to bring Norman to tears.
