Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders posted on X about her new book, UNAPOLOGETIC, saying her faith defines her and that identity in Christ alone is the firm foundation for the future. The post included a photo of her holding a copy of the book. Online users reacted after pointing to apparent errors on the cover, including a misspelling of “Crazy” as “Crasy” and garbled text beneath her name, with many questioning whether the image was AI-generated.
The image shows Sanders standing indoors and holding a copy of her book UNAPOLOGETIC. In the accompanying text, she wrote: “My faith doesn’t just influence me; it defines me. My new book UNAPOLOGETIC is about how our identity in Christ and Christ alone is the only firm foundation for our future.”
The book is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, from Macmillan, with pre-order availability listed on major retailers. Official cover images of the title display the subtitle “Clarity and Conviction in a World Gone Crazy” with standard lettering.
In the photo attached to the X post, however, the cover text appears distorted, with “Crazy” rendered as “Crasy” and additional lines beneath the author name appearing as nonsensical characters. It is not clear from the post whether the image was generated or altered with AI tools.
Responses to the Arkansas Governor’s Book Announcement
Some commenters focused on the image, with one writing, “Why is this AI? The circled word is spelled like ‘Cra€y’ and the words underlined on bottom are not even real words,” and another stating, “This book isn’t even real.”
Others offered support for the message, including replies such as “Amen sister. Keep walking the walk and talking the talk!” and “We get it. You’re proud to be Christian.”
Additional responses questioned the promotion itself, with one commenter asking, “Why did you use AI to make a picture of you holding your own book? So weird.” and another noting, “Bro, the AI, lmao, all y’all just fake everything.”
The book itself remains available for pre-order ahead of its November 10 release, with official listings and cover images showing the standard subtitle. The discussion around this post continues to center on the image rather than the title’s contents.
