Jihyo Singing “Kill Bill” On LeeMujin Service Amazes Fans
LeeMujin Service is a talk show and live music program that’s hosted by the South Korean singer Lee Mu-jin. Although the series only just premiered in February 2022, it’s already aired over 70 episodes and has featured so many celebrity guests. TXT’s Taehyun, Monsta X’s Kihyun, and NewJeans’ Danielle are just some of the K-pop stars who’ve appeared on the show over the past year and a half.
Since TWICE’s Jihyo just made her solo debut with Zone on Aug. 18, the singer promoted her EP on the show by performing her EP’s lead single, “Killin’ Me Good.” Jihyo also performed a short cover of SZA’s Billboard No. 1 single “Kill Bill.” The video of Jihyo singing “Kill Bill” quickly went viral online, and fans all had the same reaction after watching it: They want more. “Too short 😭😭,” one fan tweeted. “Need full cover 🙏,” another wrote.
Jihyo decided to perform “Kill Bill” after the host asked her about her musical taste. The star said that she’s been listening to SZA ever since she met her at the Billboard Women In Music Awards in March. “I took a picture with her and later, I watched her concert videos and listened to all of the songs on her [SOS] album, and then I fell in love with her. She’s so amazing,” Jihyo said, before performing “Kill Bill.”
Watch Jihyo perform the track around the 18:15 mark in the video above.
