As a huge fan of Borderlands (particularly Borderlands 2), the upcoming Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands looks like all the fantastical I could really ask for from a Borderlands game. Not only does it expand upon the fantastic DLC that was Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, but the idea of a fantasy world with guns has always been a personal favorite concept of mine. We hadn’t seen much as far as gameplay goes though. That is, until today. At the September 2021 PlayStation Showcase today, Gearbox unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, alongside attaching a release date of March 25, 2022. You can roll for initiative and check out the gameplay below!

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - Official Release Date Trailer | PlayStation Showcase 2021

The gameplay trailer is filled with all sorts of Borderlands-style goodies, from mythical worlds, unique enemies, and guns, lots of guns. While guns will likely be your tool of trade though, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands looks to be throwing a few olde tools of trade to take down your foes. From what we can see of the trailer, magical spells can be cast to create devastating purple balls, turn your foes into adorable spirits, or send forth a lightning bird of death. And that’s only scratching the surface of what’s shown in the trailer. It’s clear from the PlayStation Showcase trailer that Gearbox will be holding nothing back when it comes to making Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as fun and as silly as possible. Not to mention, that song throughout the trailer rocks.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on March 25, 2022. The release will come with three editions, the Standard Edition, Next-Level Edition, and Chaotic Great Edition. While the Standard Edition comes with the base game, the Next-Level Edition brings the Dragon Lord Pack Bonus Content. The Chaotic Great edition brings the game and Dragon Lord Pack, alongside the game’s season pass. For more information regarding the game, check out the official site.
