While puzzles like Wordle and Knotwords test your word knowledge, Digits is a puzzle that tests your math skills. You have five puzzles to solve and one large number for each puzzle. There are six smaller numbers and some basic math symbols. Your goal is to use those six numbers to create math operations that add up to a large number. Those six numbers can only be used once, but you can use the operations as many times as you want. The puzzles get harder as you complete them, stumping and frustrating you. That’s where today’s Digits answer comes in, along with tips to give you some encouragement.
Daily Digits Answer – Tips To Find The Solution
If you want some help but don’t want to spoil the answer right away, here’s what you can do:
- Have a calculator nearby: Test some equations first and see what numbers they give you. Sometimes you must do some math before the answer becomes obvious. While you can see your operations on the right, it’s sometimes better to have your answers in front of you. Your phone calculator will suffice, but online calculators can also do the job if your phone isn’t available.
- Be creative with your operations: It’s unlikely that you will solve a puzzle by just adding and subtracting. Use multiplication and division as well because they can give you the numbers you need. You don’t have to chain your formulas to avoid the order of math operations. Your operations happen one at a time, letting you multiply and subtract without worrying about interference.
- Keep track of the numbers you can create: Don’t just look at the numbers available to you; think about what numbers you can create. That allows you to consider more numbers than the original six. For example, 5 and 9 don’t do much on their own, but multiply them together to create 45 and leave it there. You might think of a way to utilize 45 in another operation that gets you the numbers you need.
