Despite the fact that it was released more than two years ago, with a considerably slow start to its success as well, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is still pumping out new content. Earlier this week, Ubisoft revealed “Operation White Noise,” the beginning of the final season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year Two.

Set in South Korea, the newest update will see players intervene in an observation tower high above the Seoul Skyline. In addition to the new scenery, White Noise will also add three new operating classes to the Rainbow Team.

  • One attacker and one defender from the 707th Special Mission Battalion will use their unique skills and new weapons to handle high-stakes situations.
  • A new Polish Operator from the GROM Unit will also join the roster.

Exact details regarding the new class loadouts are somewhat scarce, but they will be outfitted with destructive weapons. When it comes to describing them, Ubisoft says “The attacker is stubborn and daring while the defender is methodical and tenacious.”

While an actual release date for Year Two’s Season Four has yet to be confirmed, Ubisoft urges those interested to watch the upcoming Pro League final streams on Twitch this November 18th and 19th to find out. Alongside the news of the latest expansion, a Ubisoft blog post reveals that more content will be coming for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege soon.

“We will have more news to share on the exciting things to come in Year 3, but for now, we want to share a big thank you from the entire rainbow six development team.”

We will be sure to keep you updated in regards to any more news for Rainbow Six Siege and the upcoming Year 3 as it releases. Otherwise, stay tuned to the site for all of your other Nerdy News and Needs as well!
