According to In Touch Weekly, Tom Cruise is ready to mingle with some real-life aliens. The actor reportedly wants to make an extraterrestrial film that is set in space. He allegedly wants to partner with Elon Musk’s SpaceX company and film in the stars for real. Cruise, a known Scientologist, is said to have a huge fascination with UFOs and the paranormal.
“Tom has always been absolutely obsessed with extraterrestrial life forms, which is why he’s so determined to get his space movie off the ground,” an insider tells the outlet. “It’s a dream and a plan.”

Cruise has gotten a reputation for loving to do his own death-defying stunts in his action films. Filming in space could be seen as the greatest stunt of all.
“It’s not just the ultimate stunt, but he’s also fascinated with UFOs. He spends hours reading about them and studying all the many classified documents that have been released about them in the last few years,” the source continued.
“He has all sorts of high-powered telescopes and thinks people that doubt the existence of life on other planets are the delusional ones who are just kind of uneducated. Obviously, it’s been partly inspired by his belief in Scientology,” the informant added.
The insider went on to reveal that Tom Cruise is heavily committed to leaving his mark on the universe, not just the planet. He also reportedly lectures anyone he meets about the topic as well. “He’s passionate about it beyond belief.”
Meanwhile, fans on Reddit seem to think that Cruise’s alien obsession is out of this world.
