Each new update in Warframe pushes the boundary of what most players once thought was difficult. It’ll eventually become clear for many endgame players that they need to keep up with the power creep (and the adverse difficulty spike as an answer). And when it comes to powering up in Warframe, the best Incarnon weapons are some of the easiest and most accessible ways to do it. So we’re ranking 10 of them for you to try out.
10. Innodem
One of the first few Incarnon weapons you can acquire would be the Innodem from the Chrysalith in Zariman Ten Zero. Being last here doesn’t really mean it’s bad, it’s just that melee weapons tend to get overshadowed by the ranged behemoths we’ll be presenting later.
The Innodem is also too short-ranged in its initial form and is somewhat awkward to charge up. However, if you need a Heavy Attack weapon that doesn’t feel too slow or cumbersome, this weapon is a good stepping stone.
9. Praedos
No other tonfas matter, the Praedos is the only tonfa you need. It even nullifies the weakness of melee weapons (the fact that they’re melee) since the Praedos’ Incarnon form gives it range to rival shotguns.
It’s a melee weapon that can contend with the busted Exodia Contagion Zaws but with a simpler attack method. Of course, like all melee weapons, movement can still get out of control and erratic, but at least you can still hit enemies if you mess up.
8. Felarx
Archons in Warframe are some of the toughest bosses in the game and if you don’t want to suffer too much when fighting them (as there’s no room for error in Archon Hunts), then Felarx is almost mandatory. This, along with Kuva Hek, is one of the few handful of weapons that can kill Archons in one shot.
Sadly, the singular purpose and the somewhat undesirable Incarnon form make it less ideal outside of killing bosses.
7. Lex Incarnon Genesis
You don’t see many Secondaries in Warframe that come packed with infinite Punch Through, that’s why the Incarnon Lex is special. Special enough to be your main weapon. You can compare it to the Catchmoon Kitgun before it was nerfed.
The innate Radiation damage and Punch Through might as well make it an AoE weapon. And since it’s a Secondary, you can fire it while carrying mission objective items.
6. Strun Incarnon Genesis
The Strun was already a decent weapon, but recent updates made it one of the best Incarnon weapons in Warframe. They turned a simple shotgun into a grenade launcher.
If that’s not enough, the shots deal red crits with each shot, assuming you build it for crit. You can also be versatile in building this weapon, either by catering to its regular form or Incarnon form.
5. Miter Incarnon Genesis
Alas, some of the most superior Warframe weapons for general use remain the ones that deal AoE damage (despite the numerous nerfs). Miter Incarnon Genesis, for that matter, is right up there with Kuva Bramma and Kuva Zarr.
It’s an area-damage weapon that can also make enemies bleed to death. Like the aforementioned weapons, you also don’t have to aim too much since the Miter fires out bouncing explosives.
4. Torid Incarnon Genesis
Here we go again with the area damage weapons. The Torid Incarnon Genesis adds a twist to that AoE-mania, mostly by making its explosive projectiles Viral. That means the enemy HP is already halved as soon as they get hit.
It certainly lives up to its name and it’s one of the few Incarnon weapons that can give Kuva Bramma and its ilk a run for their credit.
3. Latron Incarnon Genesis
But Torid isn’t even the top dog when it comes to dealing area damage among the Incarnon Genesis lineup. It has better range and accuracy compared to Torid and hits Steel Path enemies like a bowling ball.
The projectiles it fires bounce and explode on contact multiple times before dissipating, letting you fire once and forget about a room full of enemies.
2. Phenmor
Despite the AoE meta, single-target weapons and Primaries are still very much necessary especially when you’re fighting the aforementioned Archon bosses and even the new Fragmented One boss. Thus, the Phenmor remains on top of the automatic, rapid-fire guns.
It’s also versatile since this thing can transform from a semi-auto rifle into a machine gun or mini-gun capable of destroying Steel Path enemies as though you’re mowing lawns.
1. Laetum
Despite all the previous flashy and explosive offerings, the Laetum simply ticks most of the boxes of what a weapon should be capable of in Warframe. Thus, we deem it the best Incanon weapon in Warframe.
It has area damage (to a certain extent), it has an accurate semi-auto fire mode, a rapid-fire auto mode, it’s a light Secondary, and it shreds the toughest bosses in Warframe. It’s a weapon you can bring to any mission with reckless abandon because you can rest assured that there’s nothing this weapon can’t kill.
