If there’s one thing we all love about Remnant 2, it is the ample catalog of weapons capable of obliterating any type of enemy. While casual players can bask in the glory of the plethora of choices, other hardcore Travelers might want to know which are the best weapons in Remnant 2. Plus, with three DLCs to play, which just add more guns to the equation, picking the right ones can be challenging. Well, don’t fret because we’ve made a list of the 10 most powerful ones.
10. Crystal Staff
You will get this staff in Infested Abyss in Yaesha. The Crystal Staff is a great melee weapon, but it stands out a lot thanks to its Power Stone Mod because when you charge the crystal, it will change the normal attacks to electric attacks. You can also summon an electric field when there are many enemies around you, which also sends three electric projectiles.
- Critical Hit Chance: 5%
- Damage: 58
- Stagger Modifier: 3%
- Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 95%
9. Krell Axe
After solving a secret puzzle in Endaira’s End in Yesha, you will find the Krell Axe. This axe and its Krell Edge Mod turn you into Thor, launching the axe, doing electric Damage, and returning this weapon to your hand, but it uses more stamina.
- Critical Hit Chance: 3%
- Damage: 54
- Stagger Modifier: -10%
- Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 85%
8. Spectral Blade
Obtain the Eidolon Shard after defeating Sha’Hala in N’Erud to craft the Spectral Blade. This sword is a very versatile weapon, but convenient thanks to its Whirlwind Mod, as it allows you to create “wind” slashes that affect enemies at close range.
- Critical Hit Chance: 8%
- Damage: 53
- Stagger Modifier: -25%
- Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 105%
7. XMG57 Bonesaw
You can buy this weapon directly in Ward 13. At first, it is a long gun with a lot of Damage and enough ammo. For the mid-game, you may find better options unless you equip anti-overheat rings and have an amulet that makes your guns have infinite bullets. So XMG57 Bonesaw gets a new life.

This handgun is ideal for close combat because although it has infinite bullets, it divides them into 5 stacks that it recovers; the closer you are, the faster they regenerate. You must also be careful when overheating this weapon, but it is very easy to use, mainly because it has the Cube Shield Mod.

You must find the Decrepit Rune in Losomn and then take it to Nimue to craft the Rune Pistol. This gun fires 3 laser beams at a time, and you have plenty of ammo, so you don’t need to worry so much about the long reload time. Also, Rune Pistol has the Soul Brand Mod that “electrocutes” the enemies, but when they die, they leave an Echo that recovers the player’s HP.

It is an unconventional weapon for being a bow, but at the same time, it is very powerful if you perfectly manage your aiming and timing. It is equipped with a Starfalllocked Mod; if you are surrounded by enemies, this Mod will cast a portal over them and attack with a shower of mini meteors.

For 10 seconds, it will transform you into a ghost, transforming your automatic weapon into one with infinite ammo, and its Damage will increase. Mobility will be more complex, and you won’t be able to use another weapon, either, but you don’t need it.

1. Alpha-Omega
This is one of the hardest weapons to get in Remnant 2, as you can only craft it after defeating Annihilation in Root Earth at the end of the story. It’s worth getting because it fires powerful laser beams in its normal form, and when you use the Beta Ray Mod, it detonates explosions.

While these are the ones we consider the best weapons in Remnant 2, that doesn’t mean these are the only choices. There are dozens of guns out there, and all of them are entirely different, so you can pick whichever fits your needs. Furthermore, you can even customize them with mods and mutators to make them even more destructive or cater to a specific build.
