Topaz and Numby made a huge splash at the beginning of version 1.4. With a great interlude for the main story and a fun Pokemon-like event, Topaz has gone from hated by many to loved by all. And now, Honkai: Star Rail has finally released the character demo for Topaz and Numby in the form of a TED Talk-esque format, which is quite creative. So, if you’re still on the fence about pulling for this dynamic duo, this video might nudge you in the right direction.

Honkai: Star Rail Unveils Topaz and Numby’s Character Demo

As we all know, due to her recent character reveal, Topaz is a Fire-type character who hails from the Path of the Hunt. While she’s the face of the duo, Numby is in charge of most of the work. The gameplay consists of helping Numby take their turns faster so they can do more damage and increase the follow-up attacks for the team. This is great as many characters in the background will have time to shine, such as Clara or the Navigator of the Astral Express: Himeko. Besides that, Topaz and Numby will be great at certain Simulated Universe stages with the right Path.

It’s important to remember this update will be shorter than others, taking its six-week period to a five-week one. While this is great, as many can’t wait for the next steps in the main story, it’ll also apply pleasure to gamers, as there’ll be less time to pull for Topaz. However, since the game is already starting to do re-runs, we could hope to see Topaz and Numby or even Jingliu in the coming versions.

For now, you should check the Aetherium Wars event, as it gives players plenty of Stellar Jade and other materials that should be useful when leveling any upcoming characters.
