Amid ongoing investigations into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged sex trafficking, music journalist Touré joins a long list of people throwing allegations against the rapper. Diddy’s sexual abuse scandal blew up on Monday after the feds stormed three of his homes simultaneously as part of ongoing investigations. They also raided his private jet, which was about to take off for the Bahamas around that time, drawing public attention to the sex scandal. The home raids followed accounts from several victims accusing the rapper of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking. It appears Diddy also made advances at Touré’s relative, who happens to be male.
Touré Claims Diddy Fired His Male Relative for Refusing to Sleep With Him
During his Tuesday night appearance on MSNBC’s The ReidOut, podcaster Touré discussed the recent raids on Diddy’s properties. The music journalist admitted none of the recent happenings surprised him as his family had already experienced a taste of the rapper’s dirty side over a decade ago. Touré recounted one time he helped a male relative snag an internship with the rap mogul. However, the family member quit abruptly, barely three or four months in.
Touré’s attempts to get his male relative to open up about his reason for quitting proved abortive. Years later, the relative eventually shared his story, claiming Diddy threatened to end the internship unless he slept with him. He divulged,
“They finally came out — and [this is] a male — and said that, Puff had said, ‘Come home, stay the night with me or the internship is over.’ And they said, ‘Absolutely not.’ He said, ‘Absolutely not.’ And the internship ended.”
Touré didn’t know what to make of the situation at the time. As more people began coming out publicly to accuse Diddy of sexual abuse and other sex-related offenses, the journalist knew he had it coming.
Touré’s Horrid Claim Against Diddy Gets More Survivors to Open Up
Barely hours after Touré’s interview revealing his male relative’s experience, former Extra host Tanika Ray, who once worked as a backup dancer for Diddy, found the courage to speak out as well. Sharing an excerpt from the interview on Instagram, Tanika recounted her experience with Diddy in a lengthy caption, admitting only five people knew it to date. Without going into specific details, the dancer described the experience as “horrific” and “traumatizing.”
Tanika also explained why she had never opened up before, saying she feared telling her truth would subject her to victimization. Hence, she chose to avoid living in a state of victimhood, opting instead to live, be happy, and forget the trauma.
Following her emotional account, several followers showed their support, extending words of encouragement to Tanika. Many used the medium to share their own horrifying experiences in Hollywood, admitting they understood first-hand why “survivors” refrain from sharing their stories. One also admitted to having horrific encounters with Diddy at a “very young” age, which they were not ready to share. They thanked Tanika for inspiring them to speak out on their own terms and, perhaps, get the much-needed closure they’ve long deserved.
