On Monday, the entertainment industry was rocked by the news of Diddy’s house raids. According to reports, the feds executed search warrants on the rapper’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami, in connection to an ongoing investigation into Diddy‘s alleged sex trafficking. As the investigation unfolds, several celebrities have stepped forward to share their opinions on the situation. Many took the opportunity to criticize the black community for their reaction to Diddy’s misfortune.
Celebrities Weigh in on Diddy’s Controversy
The controversy surrounding Diddy’s house raids gets more dramatic by the day. As the world waits for more details, some of the biggest names in the Hip Hop industry are weighing in. Rapper Uncle Luke revealed that the government was trying to silence Diddy. He claimed that the ongoing federal investigation and raid was a result of Diddy suing multi-billion dollar liquor company Diageo for racial discrimination in 2023. According to him, suing such a major corporation, which had the backing of the media and people in top positions, was sure to come with its consequences.
In another slide, Female Kanye channeled her anger to the Black community’s reaction to Diddy’s case.
“What I find more disturbing is how the black community is the only community at his throat not sparing his kids or nothing,” she said.
She hammered on how Caucasians were different, showing unity at all times. Most importantly, female Kanye noted it was sad, especially considering what Diddy’s daughters might be going through. Rapper Slim Thug shared the same sentiments with Female Kanye. According to him, it was weird to see Black people celebrating Diddy’s downfall.
“Look at who is wishing this dude fail. This is our own people, cheering and laughing, Diddy Did it, and coming up with new slogans,” Slim Thug said.
More Thoughts about Diddy’s House Raids
While some slammed the Black Community, incarcerated Suge Knight suggested a larger conspiracy theory. He noted that the raids weren’t for Diddy.
“People the raids wasn’t for Diddy. It was to destroy the incriminating stuff on powerful men. #epstien #Diddy #clivedavis,” he noted on X.
Meanwhile, actor Tyrese Gibson’s major concern was Diddy’s family and how they were coping. He stated that after trying to see things from the lens of Diddy’s kids, all he could do was say a prayer for them.
Although Diddy has received a lot of support from celebrities, some also believe he’s guilty of the accusations he’s facing. Following the news of the raid, 50 Cent took to Twitter to mock Diddy.
“Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done 🤷🏾♂ they don’t come like that unless they got a case,” the rapper wrote.
Similarly, Aubrey O’Day revealed Diddy deserved what he was getting. Recall that she called out Diddy for abusive and unprofessional behavior on the set of their reality show Making the Band.
“What you sow, you shall reap. I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured,” she said of Diddy’s predicament.
In the meantime, Diddy is yet to officially comment on the raid of his Los Angeles and Miami properties.
