At some point, you have to wonder why people keep discovering disgusting surprises in their food. It doesn’t only happen at restaurants, either. Sometimes it happens with products bought from well-known, trusted stores. One recent example came out of Florida, where a woman shared a horrifying experience after deciding to cook a steak she had purchased from Trader Joe’s. When it was finally time to eat, she discovered a worm in her meal.
As the Florida woman filmed herself explaining what happened, the steak was still sitting on a plate in front of her. The shock was written all over her face when she looked down and realized there was another worm in it. Unfortunately for viewers, she made sure to show the worm on camera, sharing the disgust. She then revealed the first worm she had already removed and placed in the sink. “WORMS in my steak from trader joe’s im sueing,” she wrote across the video. She hasn’t posted any updates since, but it wouldn’t be surprising if she seriously considered taking legal action.
People Reacting to the Florida Woman Finding Worms in Her Food
Once people saw the worms the Florida woman found, they didn’t hesitate to encourage her to sue Trader Joe’s. “You should actually sue like fr,” one person wrote. Another person also said, “Lets normalize suing all these disgusting stores!!!” Others started mentioning that this was the direct result of the budget cuts that were made. This is why someone said, “All these food problems. Kind of like the FDA rolling back all those regulations is the problem. I think we need a mass class action against the FDA.” Someone else added, “Lol trump cut a [expletive] ton of funding and laid off thousands of the employees ensuring the quality control to give the money to himself and his billionaire buddies. He made It so clear. I was one of them but I was testing human safety for meds and hospital supplies, etc.”
If you thought the Florida woman’s discovery couldn’t get worse, it does. When one person said, “Pretty sure those are maggots lol,” many agreed that they were in fact maggots. That’s just as disgusting. Others came after Trader Joe’s, saying that they aren’t good at all, such as someone who wrote, “I bought steak from there only once and never did again. It smelt sooo bad. Proceeded to cook it anyways and it tasted just gross.” Another person said, “TJ’s is so nasty. Hair in my prepackaged food never shopped there again.” The girl would probably take a break from eating any meat for a while.
