Why Wasn’t Taylor Swift At the Kentucky Derby?
There are quite a few reasons that can be speculated on as to why the pop star didn’t show up to the Kentucky Derby with her boyfriend. They could be fighting, have scheduling conflicts, or maybe she just wasn’t in the mood.

However, there doesn’t need to be much speculation here. With Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour taking her all over the world and into international territory, when she needs to travel, she needs to travel. There’s not much more to it than that.
Starting on May 9th, Taylor Swift is set to appear in France for her next leg of The Eras Tour and she’ll be spending four days performing in Paris with Paramore. That’s quite the flight to make, and it’s entirely understandable for her to want to take some time to prepare before she gets ready to travel. Between having to perform for thousands of people, fly across the country, and be away from home for so long, the coming weekend is going to be a pretty exhausting one, and adding additional outings into the mix while she’s in preparation can be pretty daunting.
