Although the Buffalo Bills quarterback proposed to the actress earlier this month, the couple didn’t announce the good news until Black Friday. Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was one of the many celebrities who congratulated the pair on their milestone. After seeing his message, fans predicted he’ll be the next football player to pop the question.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen announced their engagement by sharing a photo of their waterfront proposal on Instagram. The picture showed the couple surrounded by a rose arch, as well as an array of candles. After hearing the good news, Travis Kelce showed his support for Steinfeld and Allen by commenting, “Congratulations!!!” alongside clapping emojis.
Fans all had the same reaction after seeing his message: Will he get engaged next?
After all, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating almost as long as Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen. The newly engaged couple was first romantically linked in May 2023, while Swift and Kelce first sparked romance rumors that July. However, the singer and football star didn’t go public with their relationship until September.
Fans of the pop star have enjoyed seeing her fall in love with Kelce over the past year. They even think he could be “the one” for her. Why? Well, unlike her past boyfriends, Swift has been very public with Kelce throughout their relationship. For example, she’s shown support for her boyfriend by appearing at several of his football games. She even rooted for him and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl in February.
On top of that, Swift has mentioned Kelce in interviews and has even posted about him on social media. In June, the songstress even invited her boyfriend on stage with her during one of her Eras Tour stops in London. According to fans, that was the ultimate sign that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were the real deal.
When Will Kelce Pop the Question?
Since the pair is clearly serious about each other, fans think it’s only a matter of time before they get engaged. The couple has been involved in engagement rumors time and time again. However, fans think those rumors could turn out to be true very soon.
According to the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently got together to celebrate Thanksgiving. They were supposedly surrounded by both of their families. Although neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed their Thanksgiving plans, the pop star and Kelce’s mother, Donna, were seen together on Black Friday. They went to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Las Vegas Raiders. Swift’s father, Scott Swift, was also seen at the venue.
So, could this mean Swift and Kelce are ready to settle down? Only time will tell.
