The time to assemble your fellow warriors against the Giants, for the Tribes of Midgard is approaching. During the initial day for the E3 2021 conference this year, the developers of Norsfell and Gearbox showed off their upcoming titles.

Assemble Your Tribe Against the Giants

Tribes of Midgard Lava Giant

When Gearbox Publishing was showcasing the Borderlands film and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, upon came an official release date trailer for Tribes of Midgard. With the familiar mechanics on display, players can expect the game to drop this summer on July 27. Either you or up to nine other players can gear and gather up to face the wrath of the Giants.

Ragnarök approaches, and the Seed of Yggdrasil must be protected at all costs. In a colorful world where monsters and myths clash, the villagers of the Tribes of Midgard need to prepare for the worst. With mustered resources collected throughout the world, the players must rely on strong fortifications and combative training if they are to meet their end.

Creative Director Julian Maroda was on the front lines describing the essential aspects of the game. Of course, the main qualities of establishing a strong home with your friends were a huge point. But the final details of the game are on display as you follow the footage and its execution. The possibilities seem to be endless when embarking upon quests, and all of the collective experience will come in handy when facing the Giants. These foes appear to be an incredible force of violence and ill-will, making you and your allies worthy of preserving Yggdrasil amongst a battlefield for the imperative end.
