Trisha Paytas and Moses Hacmon have expanded their family. On Tuesday, July 22, Paytas announced that she has officially given birth to the couple’s third child. The social media star shared all of the details about her delivery on her YouTube channel. Apart from confirming the pair welcomed their first baby boy, Paytas revealed she and Hacmon named their son after a famous superhero: Aquaman.
Trisha Paytas Gives Birth to Third Child
Trisha Paytas unveiled the moniker during the latest episode of her podcast, Just Trish. About halfway through the episode, the YouTuber opened up her jacket to show off her Aquaman t-shirt in honor of her son. She then explained that she and her husband, Moses Hacmon, chose to name their new baby after the popular superhero because it combined Hacmon’s love of water and her love of movies. Of course, she’s also a massive fan of the DC film starring Jason Momoa. Paytas said she’s watched all of the Aquaman movies, as well as the cartoon. She’s also met Momoa himself at a convention.
Fans Have Mixed Reactions
While Paytas is completely head over heels over her son’s name, those on the internet have varying opinions. Some fans support Paytas’ decision to name her son Aquaman. They agree it’s unique and goes perfectly with her other children’s names, Malibu Barbie, and Elvis.
However, some fans are criticizing her choice. “She cannot be serious,” one person wrote. Those who are against the name worry that Paytas’ son won’t be taken seriously when he gets older. They fear other kids will pick on him in school for being named Aquaman. “This kid is gonna get bullied so hard,” someone wrote.
The reveal of Trisha Paytas and Moses Hacmon’s son has been highly anticipated. Ever since Paytas announced that she was pregnant, fans have been desperate to know what the couple would name their baby. Paytas previously hinted that their third child would be named after a popular movie about water. Fans guessed everything from Nemo and Titanic to Ponyo and Aquamarine. However, they never thought she would go with Aquaman.
The Reincarnation Theory
Apart from his unique name, Trisha Paytas’ son has gone viral for another reason: fans think he’s Ozzy Osbourne reincarnated. Where did the theory come from? Fans have noticed that the birth of Paytas’ children often coincides with the death of a major public figure.
Her oldest daughter, Malibu Barbie, was born on Sept. 14, 2022, just days after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 8. Meanwhile, Paytas’ youngest daughter, Elvis, was born on May 24, 2024, just weeks after the death of Pope Francis on April 21. As for her son, Aquaman, he was born on July 12, just over a week before the death of Ozzy Osbourne on July 22.
According to CNN, the musician died at the age of 76 while surrounded by his family.
