The No-Kings protests have taken place all over the country as protesters gathered to reject Trump’s military parade. Most of these protests were peaceful, but there were ones where some chaos happened due to Trump supporters. An unhinged Trump supporter in Arizona decided to disrupt one of the No-Kings protests. In the video taken of the altercation, you can see the guy stealing a Mexican flag from one of the protesters and trying to take it with him. Of course, those around him fought back as about three or four people started pulling the flag from the guy’s grasp. While doing this, the group of people surrounding the guy and his truck started throwing insults at him. Phrases such as “Beat his f**king ass” and “Kick this motherf**ker” can be heard. This is justified in a way since the guy himself was saying racial slurs.
Finally, the protesters bring the Trump supporter to the ground and take back the flag. When one of them was still on top of the guy, another protester pulled him back, saying, “Let it go.” He probably wanted to intervene before the situation got physical. When the aggressive man saw that everyone was against him, he got back inside his truck. Of course, someone who is offended by a flag would probably be petty. Therefore, before he drove away, he made sure to throw water at the protesters. They got their revenge, though, since he was arrested a few blocks away.
People Reacting to the Arizona Trump Supporter
The insults kept coming as people on Reddit showed their outrage toward the Arizona Trump supporter. One person described him as a loser by saying, “What a sad, angry, pathetic loser.” Since Trump supporters, for some reason, are mostly in trucks, someone else wrote, “It’s always a f**king truck driver.” Another commentator was afraid that a man who was showing this kind of aggression would be likely to drive through the crowd. “Word of advice, don’t let people like this hop back into their 4,000lb death machine. Make a cop come and escort him away,” they wrote.
One Redditor made sure to call the guy a fascist. They also offered their opinion on the matter. “Unpopular opinion: The fact that this guy was not in fear for his life or health in the face of this many people in opposition to him is the crux of the issue in this country. The fascists aren’t afraid because they’re the violent ones and the rest of us restrain ourselves. Until they’re afraid of us, nothing will change,” they wrote. This encouraged a few people to say that they weren’t afraid of fighting a fascist. “I would absolutely beat up a facist if I could get away with it lol,” someone declared. In the end, it is a good thing that nothing worse than this took place. Plus, he was arrested so this is the perfect ending.
