TWICE’s Jihyo has been taking over the month of August. The K-pop singer has been sharing snippets of her debut solo single “Killin’ Me Good” over the past few weeks. After much anticipation, Jihyo finally dropped the track on Aug. 18 alongside her debut mini-album, Zone. Jihyo shared photos of her in a denim jumpsuit while filming the music video for “Killin’ Me Good.” In one photo, the star stares fiercely at the camera while posing with her hands in her pockets. In a second photo, Jihyo has her back turned as she holds her hair up to expose her hoop earrings. Meanwhile, a third photo shows a close-up of Jihyo’s face. It also exposes smaller details of her music video look, including her silver chain necklace and her jumpsuit’s washed-out style. Jihyo’s Instagram ends with a photo of the singer getting into another fierce pose on set.
If you love Jihyo’s denim look, be sure to watch her “Killin’ Me Good” music video, which features the star performing her song’s choreography in her jumpsuit. “Killin’ Me Good” is from Jihyo’s Zone EP, which marks her first solo project outside of TWICE. Before releasing Zone on Aug. 18, Jihyo gave fans a glimpse at her mini-album by performing her track “Nightmare” on TWICE’s Ready to Be world tour. While the K-pop act would perform most of the concert as a group, the girls would showcase their individual talents by performing solo songs and covers. Jihyo would always perform “Nightmare,” but now that Zone has officially dropped, it’s possible she might incorporate “Killin’ Me Good” into TWICE’s setlist moving forward.
After wrapping up their North American concerts on July 9, TWICE will perform back-to-back concerts in Singapore on Sept. 2 and 3 before heading to Europe for shows in London, Paris, and Berlin.
