With the advent of Spring comes another set of free games for Twitch Prime subscribers. And there are some gems in this month’s line-up.
Furi from developer The Game Bakers is the highlight this month. Furi is an action, shoot ’em up with a stylish art style and a thumping soundtrack. The game is only comprised of a series of increasingly difficult boss fights. And all the bosses are undoubtedly difficult, but it feels oh so good to defeat them. Twitch has given away a real treat this month.
If you prefer something less aggressive, try Bomber Crew, a strategic simulator from developer Runner Duck. Fly an airplane, manage your fuel, and, most importantly, bomb your targets.
Or do you like typing, like, a lot? Then Epistory – Typing Chronicles is just for you. In this action-adventure developed by Fishing Cactus, combat is oriented around typing out certain given words, so you must explore the world one key at a time. Really, Amazon has gone all-in with the variety this March.
Prefer something more classic? Download Whispers of a Machine, a sci-fi Nordic noir from Raw Fury. With a classic art style and a vintage point-and-click control scheme, this game is bound to take you back. But the story is something completely unique.
Finally, if you want a much goofier game, play Mugsters from Reinkout. A physics-based puzzler, Mugsters is bound to make you chuckle.
And that rounds up Twitch Prime’s free games for this March. There is a lot of variety here, so there is a game for everyone. However, regardless of your preference, download them all! Nothing is better than a free game.
Twitch Prime is a subsidiary of Amazon, specifically a streaming service connected to the company. The good news is that if you already have Amazon Prime, then you automatically have Twitch Prime. I’m not one to watch live streams, but I have the service since I have Amazon Prime. And every month I pick up free games, and I suggest you do too.
However, Twitch isn’t without controversy. Free games are always a plus, but the streaming service has come under fire for some controversial bans.
In other video game news, Marvel has announced a new game. Also, Death Stranding is coming to PC way sooner than anyone expected.
Have you played any of these games before? Which is your favorite? If not, which one are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments below!
