When going out with your friends, you don’t expect to come face-to-face with a terrifying situation. This is what happened to two Texas women who went fishing at a lake. While they were there, an aggressive man who appeared to be on drugs came out of the woods and started going near them. You can hear one of the girls saying, “I will go swimming.” It was their only option in case something happens. The guy then picked up a branch and started swinging it around. After doing this, he kept getting closer to them, and he was blocking the only exit there. This meant that the lake was their only solution. At this point, the girls were left terrified. One of them quickly called her boyfriend to come and help them. She then stayed with him on the phone to describe where he could find them.
Things started getting worse for the Texas girls as the man was threatening to throw them in. He is speaking nonsense throughout the entire situation, but some things he says are terrifying. “Jump in here with the literal alligators. Open up their wrist and dive on in,” he says. The threats continued as he also threatened to throw objects he found at them. Finally, the girl’s boyfriend arrives to help him. It’s clear that he is stressed, especially when he says “You guys need to get out of here.” Thankfully, they pick up their stuff and leave before a disaster happens.
This situation becomes even more terrifying when you get informed that there is a serial killer near Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. It’s not clear whether this was the serial killer or not, but let’s hope that he wasn’t. The girls also revealed more details about the situation, including why the police weren’t there. “Yes my bf told the cops, and yes they did nothing because there was an active robbery (hence the sirens). We had a knife but unfortunately he was on heavy drugs I don’t think any weapons (except maybe a gun lol) or pepper spray would’ve held him back in that situation,” one of them wrote. It’s a good thing that they managed to get out of there before things went south.
People Reacting to the Two Texas Girls Being Threatened
The Texas girls weren’t the only ones terrified by the situation. People were also scared as they thought of what could have happened. Some men even felt guilty that women had to go through this. “As a dad this scares me. As a man, I’m sorry…,” one man wrote. There were some terrible men though who joked about how the two girls in the end needed a man to save them. This made one woman say, “‘A man helped them in the end’ yes but from who exactly?? Who did the man have to saved them from??” The answer is clear. Several women also pointed out that men would never go through such situations. This is why a woman wrote, “You simply cannot explain this fear to a man.” Another woman believed that men like the crazy guy always ruin things. “WHY DO THEY RUIN EVERYTHING,” she asked.
Others offered advice on what the Texas women should have done. “You ever been whipped with a fishing rod? It’s painful. You had a good weapon in your hands,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “Keep that fishing knife out babes.” Thankfully, it didn’t reach the point where they needed to confront the guy. Since all women relate to the video, one TikTok user wrote, “It’s so incredibly sad how every woman who watched this video knows how they were feeling.” It is definitely terrible. Another person said, “Trying to nervously continue what you’re doing and pretend like you’re not terrified is too relateable for all of us.” The entire situation shows what women have to deal with daily. No woman should ever go through this.
