Many people love to get a huge reaction out of people who are just doing their jobs. This is especially so for employees of rideshare apps. One woman recorded when an Uber driver yelled at her to get out of the car after the ride had ended. However, after the video was posted to Reddit, commenters realized just how wrong the woman recording was.
A Reddit user named lapochealaire posted a video from the point of view of a woman sitting in the back seat of an Uber. Although the woman is ‘politely’ asking the driver where the destination is, she sneakily leaves out the fact that they have already arrived and is refusing to leave the car. As the argument continues, the driver gets increasingly agitated, which appears to be exactly what the woman wants.
At one point during the video, the Uber driver calls the police, which doesn’t phase the passenger at all as she continues to ask where the destination is. Although the argument never gets physical, it feels like the woman wanted it to.
The above reply got the most comments, with commenters pointing out how the woman probably wanted a reason to sue Uber for a large sum of money. Others believe she just wanted to see how far she could push him for the recording.
Hopefully, the gentleman driving the Uber had a camera in the vehicle, recording the interaction from his point of view. Otherwise, this video is more than enough to show anyone and everyone just how terrible this woman was. I hope she’s been banned from the app.
