However, there are sleeper builds and guns buried under the overhyped weapons like the Superi 46 and even the newly buffed HRM-9. One of these is an underrated MW2 AR that’s still powerful enough to dominate the soundest in the current Warzone and MW3 meta, and surprisingly enough, it’s only got a 0.22% pick rate, according to the WarzoneStats.GG website.
The gun is Kastov-74u, and it’s not even labeled as recommended like some of its other Kastov siblings. The firearm has balanced mobility, high firepower, and manageable recoil. These are the stats of the best MW3 guns in the game right now, but let’s try something new by repolishing the Kastov-74u with mobility-based attachments.
Underrated Kastov-74u AR Loadout For Warzone and MW3
- Barrel: BR209 Barrel
- Stock: Spetsnaz S10 Stock
- Muzzle: Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
With this loadout, everything is in favor of mobility so that you can use this AR as an SMG/Sniper Support in Warzone or MW3. Nerd Review: A Well-Rounded AR/SMG Hybrid
After winning multiple matches with the Kastov-74u in Warzone, I have to say — this gun is absolutely underrated. I played Solo and Quads, and things went so smoothly with Kastov-74u’s high mobility and damage. Since it’s an AR, you get more damage range, while the mobility is on A tier compared to S tier demons like Superi 46. On MW3 without armor plates, this AR is even more underrated for its stats and insane headshot damage multiplier.
Does it win a 1v1 battle against the meta SMGs? Yes. The only thing that you need to master while using this gun is the recoil pattern. If you manage to land your shots against a meta abuser, you’ll have the upper hand, especially if they’re using meta SMGs against you in mid-range.
