Since it’s an AR, you get more damage range, while the mobility is on A tier compared to S tier demons like Superi 46. On MW3 without armor plates, this AR is even more underrated for its stats and insane headshot damage multiplier.
Does it win a 1v1 battle against the meta SMGs? Yes. The only thing that you need to master while using this gun is the recoil pattern. If you manage to land your shots against a meta abuser, you’ll have the upper hand, especially if they’re using meta SMGs against you in mid-range.
