Adults shouldn’t start fights with kids; they should be the bigger person. They also shouldn’t try to physically harm them, which almost goes without saying unless you’re this Florida woman. This is what one unhinged Florida Karen allegedly tried to do. She was harassing a group of kids on motorbikes, claiming that they were driving on the street. The kids alleged that she tried to run them over with her car. In the video, you could hear her saying, “video all you want” to the cameraman, who was apparently the only adult in the group of kids. She also had another woman with her who yelled that they were driving on the street. “You are in the [expletive] street and you know it,” the Karen said to the cameraman. He started telling her that it was a bike path and not a street, but she didn’t like that.
The Florida Karen headed toward the cameraman while saying that it was a street and that he was lying. She then became physical as she tried to slam the phone out of his hands. The video then showed another angle where the woman’s car was on the sidewalk. This might hint that the kids were telling the truth and that she tried to run them over. With this new angle, a kid was the one filming now. He kept repeating “she tried to hit me,” which the Karen didn’t deny. The video then showed her standing too close to one of the kids on his motorbike and arguing with him. Thankfully, a man got out of his car and headed toward them while shouting, “That’s a kid. What the hell is wrong with you?” No one could know what she would have done next if it weren’t for that man.
Luckily for the kids, the man stood up to her. The boy told the man that she tried to hit him. “You don’t touch a kid,” the man yelled. It was only when the man neared her that the Karen moved away from the kid. At this point, the man who was with the group went to talk to her. She was again saying something about them driving on the street. “Get her license plate,” the boy said before he told her, “you don’t try to kill a kid.” She didn’t deny this either. Of course, the boy’s voice was emotional which is understandable if their allegations were true. “You swerved into me,” he yelled. She and the woman with her finally got into the car and drove away while still on the sidewalk. Even if the kids were driving on the street, this doesn’t justify her behavior.
People Reacting to the Unhinged Florida Karen
No one would like to see kids being harassed by an adult, and this explains why people were against the Florida Karen. Since one of the kids was repeating how she tried to hit them, one woman wrote, “poor kids.” When someone asked, “Why don’t they just call the police?” another person replied and said, “What are you talking about? Wouldn’t you want evidence first. She’s a white lady she knows exactly what she’s doing and they wouldn’t believe the other party.” She did act like she wasn’t afraid of consequences. Others believed that it was a bike path as one person asked, “Isn’t she parked and driving on a bike path?” Another person then said, “Looks like a bike path to me too.”
More people criticized the Florida woman. The only positive aspect here was that other adults defended the kids. “Glad the adults stood up for those kids,” one person wrote. A TikTok user also said, “I love how that man just comes out of nowhere and is protecting all the kids we need someone like him everywhere.” There were several comments that believed the kids were telling the truth. “‘Allegedly’ her car is literally on the sidewalk and the grass,” one person wrote. Another person found it crazy that she drove her car onto the sidewalk. “Isn’t the car off the street? That’s crazy,” they said. She shouldn’t have harassed those kids. Plus, if the allegations were true, she should be held accountable.
