Holidays are always a great time to witness some drama, and Thanksgiving isn’t an exception. A woman who was at The Partridge Inn in Georgia filmed a man there who went completely unhinged as he threw a tantrum. It all started when the guy brought a male guest to the hotel. He then changed his mind and wanted that guest to leave. Instead of being civil about it, he went to the reception desk and started yelling at the staff to get the guest to leave. He even claimed that it was “his hotel.” For some reason, he also said that he was a marine, as if this should justify how he was acting. The whole situation was unnecessary, but he still called 911. He could have just gone up to his room and left the guest standing at the desk. It wouldn’t have harmed him.
While the Georgia man waited for the police, he got upset that the hotel gave his guest a shuttle to leave. Wasn’t he the one who asked them to make the guest leave? He also thought that the shuttle was added to his tab without his permission. “I’m gonna be suing the [expletive] out of you,” he told the worker at the front desk. Finally, a man named James, who worked for the hotel, appeared and tried to calm the guy down. The guy started saying his guest had turned out to be drunk, which was why he kicked him out. He then complained that the hotel gave his guest a ride on his tab.
Embarrassingly for him, it turned out that he doesn’t just throw tantrums like kids, but he also knows a limited vocabulary like them. James made it clear that it was a courtesy shuttle. Rather than understating that the shuttle was free, the guy was convinced that it meant the hotel added the fee to his tab. You have to applaud James for remaining calm while dealing with the man who just kept yelling. It seemed like James finally calmed him down, but the guy had demands. He wanted the hotel to give him a room comp because they helped a “hostile” guest. The only one who was acting hostile in this situation was he.
In addition to claiming he is a Marine, the Georgia man also claimed he works for the FBI. While James kept trying to calm him, he yelled “SIR” and stood up to continue his tantrum. At this point, James couldn’t help but laugh at the way a grown-up man was acting just because the hotel gave his guest a free ride. Did he want them to kick him out of the hotel as well, just because he said so? Unfortunately, the video ends without revealing the outcome, since it cuts off with the guy still yelling. Hopefully, the tantrum didn’t last any longer, because I feel bad for the hotel staff who had to endure it.
People Reacting to the Georgia Man’s Tantrum
People were kind of in disbelief at how the Georgia man acted. No one could ignore how he did all of this because he couldn’t understand what a courtesy shuttle meant. This is why one woman wrote, “YES! The audacity of him.” One person also said, “he didn’t know courtesy meant free oh lord.” Someone else pointed out how stupid the entire situation was as they wrote, “So he told the hotel he didn’t want the guest (that he brought) to be in the hotel anymore and the hotel used the courtesy shuttle to remove the guest (that he brought) FOR FREE and hes mad because they did what he asked?” Yep.
Others kept mocking the Georgia man, as many didn’t believe that he was actually a Marine. “A marine who is in law school and also ironically in the FBI,” one person wrote. Another person then replied and said, “Just another entitled vetbro. Never met a marine that didn’t have an entitled man baby outburst at some point. Also very likely has never deployed or gave actually done anything to note, if he is a marine. The ones that have to announce they are a so and so, usually weren’t much of anything.” It won’t be surprising if he was lying. Aside from the mocking, people enjoyed how James handled the situation, as someone wrote, “James is actually a retired hostage negotiator just trying to live a quiet life at the partridge inn.” It definitely takes patience to try to reason with such a man.
