Sometimes people can’t tolerate others who hold different beliefs. Instead of walking away, they feel the need to confront anyone who doesn’t agree with them. That’s exactly what happened when an unhinged Washington, D.C., MAGA supporter crossed paths with an anti-Trump protest.
He was walking down the street with his wife when they passed a group of protesters holding signs, including ones that read “Trump must go.” The man didn’t like what he saw and immediately started arguing with them. “If you want change, be a [expletive] change. Don’t sit here like a [expletive],” he shouted at the group.
While he was yelling, his wife kept trying to pull him away, hoping to defuse the situation. Instead of leaving, he escalated things even further by throwing a cup of hot coffee at one of the protesters.
Finally, the Washington, D.C., man began walking away with his wife. But the moment the woman filming yelled, “Where the [expletive] are you going?” he immediately turned around and headed back toward the protesters. His wife desperately tried to pull him away, but he broke free and snapped, “I’m right here,” before violently shoving her aside. She was lucky she didn’t fall.
“Why are you chasing me? You wanna be a [expletive] hero too?” he yelled, even though it didn’t appear that anyone was chasing him. He was simply embarrassing himself. His wife even threw her own coffee to the ground so she could use both hands to try to drag him away. He only quieted down when a police car pulled up to see what was going on.
At this point, police kept the two groups separated. The woman filming continued yelling and insulting the officers, while the MAGA supporter shouted from across the street, “Pick a gender, you dumb [expletive].” As the video went on, text on the screen revealed that the man had lost his wallet during the meltdown and was now searching for it. According to the woman filming, he wouldn’t have lost anything if he hadn’t thrown hot coffee at people.
A police officer approached her, and she began explaining what happened. Thankfully, she said the man actually missed his target when he hurled the coffee.
Later in the video, two other men approached the camerawoman to talk about the MAGA supporter. Apparently, he hadn’t just been harassing the protesters; he had also targeted random bystanders. He even told the two men he hoped they “got AIDS,” despite them having nothing to do with the argument. Completely unnecessary and cruel.
Honestly, the person I feel the worst for is his wife, who was shoved aside simply because she was trying to keep him out of trouble.

People were quite upset by the way the Washington DC MAGA supporter acted. They especially felt bad for his wife who didn’t do anything wrong. This is why one person wrote, “He got the wife doing the moondance lol. She will rewatch this video in her divorce proceedings in a few years wondering why she didn’t see the red flag earlier. I mean pushing your proactive wife who’s trying to prevent from getting an assault charge on camera + heft legal fees and jail time. The A in MAGA stands for assault.” Another person called the man a “Domestic abuser.” Someone else wondered what would have happened if the wife had actually fallen. “What if his wife had lost her footing and fr fell back? Head right on the concrete. What an idiot,” they wrote.
Others online didn’t hold back when reacting to the Washington, D.C., man’s behavior, and many chose very colorful words to describe him. “It’s always the same with these clowns. Fat, bearded, mouthy [expletive],” one person wrote. Several commenters also claimed that all MAGA supporters seem to fit the same mold, with another saying, “I am once again asking, why do all MAGAts look the same? Every [expletive] one of them.”
One Redditor added,
“Another insecure loser whose brain has been scooped out and replaced with rat droppings.”
Since the man claimed he lost his wallet during the meltdown, someone else speculated, “I wouldn’t be surprised if there was no lost wallet, and the magat homeboy’s just using that as either an excuse for his actions or a play to frame a protestor.”
Whatever the truth is, he certainly backed off when the police arrived. What matters most is that no one ended up seriously harmed.
