Nowadays, people have become more prone to losing their patience over trivial encounters with others. Unfortunately, some of these people’s first instinct is to harass the other side. This harassment could even turn into racism, and that was what happened in Washington. A Black man made an online order at an establishment and went to pick up his food. There was a White man there for the same reason, but he didn’t preorder it. It turned out that he was quite unhinged since he lost his mind when the young man received his food first. At the time, there were two individuals there who confronted him and said, “Who cares if he gets his food first?” That was when he completely lost it.
The man started using vulgar language, and also used racist and transphobic terms because, according to the couple, it was clear that they were trans. Unfortunately, he made death threats toward them as well. He did this as he allegedly placed his hand on a pocket knife clipped to his jeans, and then told them, “You are lucky I’m a nice guy and don’t come over there and end this.” This was when one of the couple filmed the video shared.
The unhinged Washington man started mocking the woman filming him while he kept flailing his hands. The mocking quickly turned into aggression as he threatened her again. “You’re lucky I don’t come over there and smack that phone,” he said. When the guy approached the couple, a man got in front of them to protect them. Rather than back away, the guy started saying that if they touched him, he would swing back. This aggression and the fact that he was too close to them prompted the man there to use a taser he had with him as a warning.
The aggressive guy continued his meltdown as he said that if the taser was used on him, he would put its owner in a “bad place.” At this point, the woman was trying to de-escalate the situation. She asked him to “please stop” and it wasn’t the first time that she made that request. Despite the good Samaritan using his taser as a warning, the unhinged individual used a homophobic slur while he claimed that tasers don’t do anything. Shockingly, he stated that he shocked 100 people using tasers. The good Samaritan asked him if that was a confession, and he proudly said yes. “What are we gonna do?” he challenged him.
The Washington man then revealed his political beliefs as he started saying, “Welcome to another democrat rational. If I put hands on you, there is no [expletive] no risk for me at all. No criminal risk at all.” I don’t think this is correct. He then described the trans couple as “you people” and claimed that these “people” can’t follow a “reasonable suggestion.” Well, according to his behavior in the video, it is doubtful that he had any reasonable suggestions to offer. The poor couple ended up sharing a post warning people of the man. They shared that this happened at Late Night Kitchen, and they asked the owner for security footage, but he hasn’t shared it yet. The man should be held accountable for everything he said.
People Reacting to the Unhinged Washington Man
A lot of people were disgusted by what the Washington man did. Since he was both a racist and a transphobe, one person wrote, “And this is what Trump enables.” It also turned out that he has been causing trouble for some time because another person added, “Somebody else posted about this same guy getting drunk and harassing people around the bars on stone way. Maybe 3-4 months ago. From what I remember he has a history of doing this.” That made one person from the trans couple respond and add more details. “Wow, really? Thanks for the info, that’s helpful. We just got back from talking to the workers at Late Night Kitchen and they said the guy came back on Saturday and was scoping out the place. They said it looked like he was checking for cameras,” they wrote.
It’s reasonable that the Washington man would go back and check for cameras. He might want to keep his job, if he has one, because it was also revealed that he was fired several times before. “He used to work at the Wallingford QFC. Got fired for beating up a homeless guy,” one person claimed. Another person then said, “he has been fired from multiple jobs for violence.” Since he pointed out his political beliefs, someone called him, “Def a magat conservative racist piece of [expletive].” One Redditor also pointed out how aggressive the guy was as they said, “What a weirdo. The amount of irony and contradiction in what he is saying. He himself is being confrontational, he is the one suggesting aggression, he is the one stepping to them, and he is the one not minding his business. What a gross excuse for a human.” And to be frank, they’re right.
