Whenever you are driving with your family or by yourself, you don’t think that you will come across serious trouble. Something that you might predict is road rage incidents, but unfortunately, it turns out that worse things can happen. A Seattle mother was driving with her daughter and two kids when someone shot at her using a pellet gun. The bullet hit her in the face as it landed on her cheek. It was bad luck that she was driving with the windows down. Thankfully, none of the kids were injured. Her daughter’s husband was the one to share the attack and it left people unsettled.
Since several people wanted to check on the Seattle mother, OP thankfully provided an update. She has stitches now along with a fractured cheekbone, but at least she is resting at home. OP also advised people to drive with their windows up. As it wasn’t clear who exactly did this, someone mentioned a post that was shared earlier where someone was warning people about the exact same thing. “Apparently some jackhole kids in N Cap Hill are entertaining themselves by shooting random people with a pellet gun as they drive by. No description of the assailants or their vehicle – this just happened to a friend who doesn’t want to call it in for lack of useful information – but be aware. 10th Ave (north of Broadway), about 15 minutes ago,” the post read.
People Reacting to the Attack on the Seattle Mother
It was predictable that everyone would be angered by what happened to the Seattle mother. Immediately, some people started claiming that this was attempted murder. “If they catch the perp they need to charge them with attempted murder. Edit: The more I think about it the more I’m convinced how serious this is. This person aimed a gun at a driver, in a moving vehicle, through an open window, and shot her in the face. The difference between what happened and 4 people being murdered is pure luck. This person shot to kill,” one person wrote. This made someone else decide to face violence with violence as they said, “Pointing a gun at someone is a good way to get shot… With any luck this might sort itself out.”
In addition to this, people started sharing their well wishes toward the Seattle mother. “Thank God it wasn’t her eye. I feel for you and your family,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “Hope your family’s doing alright.” Others started wishing that the boys who did this would get caught. “I hope the attackers get caught and hit with premeditated attempted murder charges. The teens doing this have been at it for nearly a week,” one Redditor said. “Wow. This is Insane. I agree with the other commenters about the seriousness of the situation. I’m glad your MIL is okay. Whoever did this needs to be arrested immediately and if it is part of a larger pattern, members of the community should be notified,” another person wrote. I just hope that the Seattle mother will be okay.
