The hardworking fanboys at FANDAMENTAL are presenting a new documentary that centers around the FPS video game genre. By gathering a wide array of legendary developers, the team has put together over four hours that highlight the behind-the-scenes memories that made the genre what it is today. The folks behind DOOM, Halo, Unreal, and many more will provide insight across a multitude of noteworthy FPS titles. Time is ticking, though. This “definitive documentary” is launching for a limited time. Let’s dig into it and see what all the fun is about with FPS: First Person Shooter.

The Ultimate FPS Documentary Gathers Over 45 Industry Icons

FPS: First Person Shooter – The Definitive FPS Documentary is in its final stages of production. For over two years, FANDAMENTAL has been piecing together footage, interviews, insights, and gameplay. An incredible trip into the world of FPS gaming, the documentary features many creators and developers that brought forth our favorite first-person shooter titles of the past. In addition to the aforementioned games, FPS fans can expect the minds behind Deus Ex, GoldenEye 007, Half-Life, System Shock, and Wolfenstein to speak about their gaming legacies.

Now that the FPS documentary is releasing quite soon, FANDAMENTAL has set up a page for the launch. Along with the attached trailer, the documentary’s page includes complete information on what’s included with each edition of the film. Reviews are also viewable, coupled with the listing of the cast, an informational “About” page, and a FAQ. In regard to the reviews, the film is receiving tons of love from TheGamer, Reload Magazine, Shacknews, and more.

Limited-Time Bundles

Enthusiastic fans can visit the page now to look through the different editions of the film. There are currently six bundles to choose from, each equipped with special, collectible items:

  • Standard (Blu-ray) – $99 + Shipping
  • Big Box (Blu-ray) – $149 + Shipping
  • Digital – $49
  • Associate Producer – $1,499
  • Producer – $3,499
  • Executive Producer – $5,999 + Shipping

With these bundles in mind, read through each description as you visit the official page for the FPS: First Person Shooter documentary. Extra perks include premiere tickets, IMDB credits, and Big Box Packages. There’s plenty to see, so be sure to check out each bundle before you make a decision. The Digitial Release is set for August 31, 2023, and the physical release will begin shipping on September 30, 2023.

What’s essential to consider here is that the film is a limited-edition release. Interested fans have only until August 1, 2023, to make a purchase before the opportunity closes. We’re not sure when FANDAMENTAL will offer another chance like this, so take advantage while you can!
