The term “Karen” is an online phrase used to refer to a stereotype of middle-aged, typically white, and middle-class women who are seen as rude, demanding, or entitled. It is also heavily referred to on social media platforms such as TikTok. However, this video, posted to the account @MommaLexxid, has the internet debating who is in the wrong. The clip now has around 25K views, as these Utah women get into an altercation regarding some kids at a school bus stop.
The TikTok begins with the mother of one of the children approaching somebody’s front door. The text on the screen reads, “Confront the West Jordan, UT lady with me.” More text can be seen below, reading, “Who thought she could yell at my 12-year-old son this morning.” Although it takes a few minutes of knocking and ringing the doorbell for the other woman to even answer, she would finally come to her front door. The Utah mom then jumps right into things. She tells the woman that she hears, “You had an incident with my son.” The homeowner also allegedly accused the son and his friends of vandalizing her property.

However, the woman would then begin to wholeheartedly deny these accusations, as she claimed she never accused the woman’s son. Luckily, for the kid and his mom, they are said to have a video of the homeowner attempting to blame the woman’s son for leaving trash in her yard. As well as now having video evidence of the woman lying. Although things would really heat up after the homeowner would tell the woman’s son to “Shut up,” This led to an intense screaming match between the adults, as social media doesn’t know whose side to take. “Which one is the Karen?” one asked in the comment section.
Although a follow-up TikTok would seemingly answer that valid question. In a second clip posted to the same account, viewers see the children’s perspective of the original altercation. The second video shows the homeowner blocking the entrance to the bus, while the kid recording is already aboard. She can be seen taking a picture of the child, as well as throwing a fit about where the children are getting picked up. The Utah Karen then tells the bus driver that she will talk to his boss “again” if she needs to.
It seems that this Utah woman had problems with the children being on the sidewalk as they waited. This led to her confronting the children, the bus driver, and, later, the boy’s mother. Despite who is in the right here, this is no way to act, especially in front of children. Hopefully, after these embarrassing videos, the homeowner will leave those kids alone for good.
