By now, you should know about V Rising‘s gameplay loop: track a V Blood carrier, beat them to death, steal their blood, and unlock new furniture. One of the poor souls you need to track in V Rising is Polora the Feywalker. While this foe might not have the most relevant unlocks for your journey to become a vampire lord, eliminating her can net you interesting magic and some items that those fiends of the night with a green thumb might enjoy.
Where To Find Polora the Feywalker in V Rising
(Updated on May 8, 2024 – Clarified information and replaced images)
Before you face this fairy-like foe, you must find her. Polora the Feywalker can be found at Gleaming Meadows, which is still inside V Rising‘s starting zone (as highlighted in the image above). To face her, you need a gear score of at least 35, but anything above that will be much better. If you’ve spawned on the western side of the starting area, just head north to reach her lair. If not, you’ll have to travel a lot until you find Gleaming Meadows, but you can use the above image as a reference.
Polora the Feywalker Walkthrough
When facing Polora the Feywalker in V Rising, the biggest challenge is the enemies she spawns throughout the fight. Other than that, she uses AoE skills similar to those of other bosses, so it shouldn’t be too challenging if you’re familiar with those mechanics already. Still, here are the attacks she’ll throw at you:
- Spirit Wave: Polora will launch several projectiles in a cone-like shape. This is the most common attack but is easily avoided if you stay behind her or dodge at the right moment.
- Spirit Wolf: Polora will summon a wolf that’ll chase down a target. If the wolf hits the target, it’ll bounce toward other party members, doing a lot of damage.
- Fear: Polora will send out a burst of energy close to her, inflicting fear on enemies. When you see her charging a circle-like attack, run away from her.
- Summon Pixies: At certain intervals during the fight, Polora will summon Pixies to attack you and other party members. When playing co-op, have someone focus on Pixies while someone sticks to damaging Polora.
For this fight, we recommend alternating between melee and ranged. The fear effect can ruin your day, especially if you have Pixies surrounding you. While this boss doesn’t hit as hard as some higher-level ones, her summons can be annoying. If possible, bring a few friends to help you against this foe. After beating her, you’ll get to unlock a new effect on your dodge skill, which is quite the upgrade for your following boss encounters.
