V Rising is a very popular new action-survival game developed by Swedish Stunlock Studios that features large crafting and resource gathering elements in its mechanics. The ability and knowledge of where and how to gather said resources are integral to the main gameplay loop and progression. Paper is one of the primary resources available for you to find and use to research new crafting recipes, called Technologies, with the Research Desk. For this reason, knowing where to find important resources such as Leather, Iron, and Paper can be an enormous help to quickly advance in the world of V Rising. In this guide, you will learn how and where to find Paper, the critical resource, in V Rising.
Where To Find Paper In V Rising
The first and easiest place to rapidly find Paper is to prioritize the Bandit Camps located mostly on the southern end of the map in a zone referred to as the Farbane Woods. You can either loot the chests inside the Bandit Camps or slay enemies all around the area by yourself or with friends for a chance drop of the Paper resource. It has a pretty decent drop chance, so do not get discouraged if it does not drop right away, and you can accumulate a pretty decent amount in less than 30 minutes. However, it should be noted that it is recommended to have at least level 20 gear before venturing to the Bandit Camps for Paper if you want to have a more smooth sailing experience. The second method comes a little further into the progression of the game where you will be able to craft Paper through the Paper Press.

After felling the powerful level 37 boss Nicholaus, The Fallen, access the Study and use the Research Desk in order to craft the Paper Press. The Paper Press should be in the second tier of the Research Desk, which you can use to craft the said Paper Press. At this point, you have everything you need to be able to start crafting the Paper resource at a much more reliable rate and to your heart’s content, giving you much faster access to the upper Technologies and higher tier gear.
V Rising is now available as Early Access on PC via Steam.
