After all the leaks and rumors, Activision has given the green light to release a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone that re-reintroduces Verdansk. After years of operation in Caldera, Al-Mazrah, and Urzikestan, Warzone players are invited to visit the good old Verdansk in Season 3, and if you take a close look at the teaser, there’s something very important going on with Call of Duty this time around.
Verdansk Returns, But No Crazy Bundles

A few days ago, a post for Women’s Day revealed two of the returning weapons in Warzone Season 3. There have been leaks that Grau 5.56, Kilo 141, HDR, and CR-56 Amax are returning with this update, and Call of Duty gave away that with their teaser. However, there were no signs of cartoonish skins and bundles in that trailer.
The same can be said about the new Warzone Season 3 Verdansk teaser, where anywhere you look, there’s nothing but normal humans in the video. No crazy bundles and non-relevant characters driving a car out of an explosion, and no bunny suits that are beating a mil-sim-looking operator. Is this the Call of Duty season that things are returning to normal? We can hope at least, right?
Meanwhile, Call of Duty professionals like Nadeshot have read their lines for the new season and Verdansk’s return, stating that the game suffers from more significant issues. And that’s exactly what’s going on. If the best map ever releases for Warzone and I’m banned for no obvious reason or the menu has too many annoying bugs that don’t let me create a loadout, then it doesn’t matter. The game will become frustrating at one point, and players will eventually leave.
Hopefully, the recent delay in Warzone Season 3’s release has given the developers enough time to focus on the new content and fixes that’d help elevate the game for the return of Verdansk. However, even with all the bugs patched, cheaters and server lags are still issues within the game, which cannot be solved or fixed by Treyarch or any other developer studio. It’s up to Activision to decide what they want for the future of their game now.
