Violent Philadelphia Cop Aggressively Subdues Protester by Kneeling on Their Neck, ‘Imagine What Happens When Those Cameras Are Off’

This goes beyond excessive force

We already know things are getting out of hand around the country, yet those who vowed to serve and protect us are not helping to calm things down. Recently, there were anti-ICE protests all around the country. We’ve seen how many of those events have escalated in unimaginable ways. However, law enforcement officers have taken advantage of the chaos to spread even more chaos, and worst of all, attack people. One of these cases happened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where a cop violently subdued a protester by kneeling on his neck. The sad part of it all is that the other police officers didn’t do anything to prevent the situation.

[11 June Update – As the original Reddit post has seemingly been deleted, we’ve added another video of the same incident down below]

Fucking Philadelphia cop kneels on protestor's neck during arrest at an ANTI -ICE protest June 10 2025

It all happened on June 10, 2025, during the anti-ICE protests in Philadelphia. As you can see in the video, there are several cops from the Philadelphia PD trying to “de-escalate” the situation, yet it seems they are doing the exact opposite. One of those officers subdued a protester aggressively. He did so by kneeling on the person’s neck, which is an excessive use of force and one that could endanger the protester’s life.

The video continues to show other police officers, and you can even observe one of them talking to the violent cop, clearly telling him to move his knee away from the person’s neck. Another worrying thing about this event is how it seems other police officers arrived to cover the cameras, with their bikes.

Naturally, many citizens in Philadelphia feel scared of the police department and their aggressive arrest methods.

“Imagine what happens when those cameras are off.” – Odoyle-Rulez via Reddit.

“When they don’t think the cameras are on, apparently the answer is ‘trample them with their horses’” – sharlayan via Reddit.

The above comment is alluding to the recent Los Angeles protests. As you know, several people filmed police officers trampling people with their horses. It is quite alarming to see those who “serve and protect” going to such violent lengths.

Unfortunately, these aren’t the only violent cases involving law enforcement officers and their cruel detainment methods. There have been many reports of international reporters getting shot with rubber bullets while they are trying to cover these events.

This is a sad situation, as many should feel safe when they see a police officer. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, judging by this footage, anyway. Many wonder if there are any good cops out there — and I’m sure there are — but by the looks of it, some cops are abusing their positions of power, and in the process, hurting innocent civilians.
