It’s always romantic when two individuals look past each other’s flaws and let their love bloom into a beautiful relationship. However, certain flaws shouldn’t be simply overlooked because of love, especially when said flaws can be a danger. Unfortunately, one Texas father realized this too late after his bipolar partner and mother of his daughter went on a manic rampage while he wasn’t home. The damage didn’t just cost him thousands of dollars; as he put it, she “destroyed everything.”

Posting his tragic story to r/pcmasterrace, the Texas man vented about what his violent bipolar partner did to his life. It was while he was at work that she had an episode and drenched his gaming PC and monitors with water. The damage didn’t stop there; she went on to slice every cable and stabbed his expensive Yamaha HS8 monitors, as well as cut up his guitars. “Honestly there’s no way I can afford any of this right now,” he groaned.

Bipolar Partner Destroyed Everything

He explained how coming back home from work to game and relax with his daughter was his biggest joy in life. But now, “because of her mental health that goes untreated I have to suffer. The one thing I had to myself that I built up over years, gone,” he sighed. On top of the physical loss and overwhelming mental stress from what happened, he felt “broken and reduced to nothing.”

Reddit Encourages Taking Legal Action Against This Dangerous Woman

Fortunately, his daughter and pet cat are safe and weren’t injured during his now ex-partner’s episode. The Texas bipolar woman has been jailed, and rightfully so. She didn’t just destroy her partner’s property; she ruined her relationship as a mother and girlfriend while also proving her mental illness makes her dangerous. While OP likely doesn’t want to do anything at the moment besides mourn and grieve his loss, many commenters encourage him to take legal action.

“Doing nothing now sets a precedent. You might think it’s over now, but sometimes it’s not that easy,” warns a Redditor, who was responding to another person saying that going through court with her could be a nightmare. It’s not just about getting justice for what she did, either. As one user strongly suggests, “You need this on record for the sake of your child. You need to make sure that this woman never gets to have guardianship of that little girl.”

While several people did sympathize with the Texas woman needing help for her bipolar disorder, others reminded OP how much of a risk having her around would be. “First it’s your emotions, then it’s random objects, then it’s YOUR stuff, and ultimately it’s you,” cautions a commenter.
