Virginia residents are demanding answers online after the deaths of former Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and his wife, as authorities investigate the incident as a murder-suicide.
The case has drawn widespread attention due to Fairfax’s political profile and reports that the couple’s two children were inside the home at the time. Authorities shared additional details in a police briefing released by local media.
According to police, Fairfax fatally shot his wife before taking his own life at their Annandale home. The couple, who were reportedly going through a contentious divorce, had been separated but still living together. Their teenage son placed the 911 call shortly after the incident.
The situation has gained traction online as details about the children’s presence continue to circulate, prompting strong reactions across social media and forums.
