After 15 long years, Square Enix unveiled the next mainline entry of Visions of Mana during The Game Awards, which is arriving in 2024. If you didn’t know, the first game of this series launched as a Final Fantasy spin-off, but after a great success, the studio decided to make it a standalone franchise. Now that more than a decade has passed, it is only time for fans to revisit some of the beloved creatures of this saga. So, get ready to face some Rabites because Mana is back in business.

The New Visions of Mana Game Launches in 2024

The recent trailer for Visions of Mana during The Game Awards shows a reinvented vision for this classic franchise. Anyone who saw it can see the clear bump in graphics and action-packed gameplay, which is something Square Enix has tried lately. This excited many players, as it is always fantastic to bring a classic series to a modern light. Still, there are many unknown details about this game regarding its gameplay, but since the game is launching next year, we can expect a few more things during the next month.

While veteran fans might love this new title, newcomers can embark on this adventure, too. You’ll join Val as he protects his childhood friend tasked with rejuvenating the mana flow of the realm. So far, the story seems engaging, and it checks every box RPG fans like in a game such as this one. Now, we only hope Square Enix reveals more of the real-time action combat systems this new era for the saga will feature.
