Solo developer has unleashed a fresh approach for Twitch streamers to engage with when it comes to their friends and fans—introducing the Vs Chat Pack, a 4-in-1 package featuring four different games for folks to choose from. From an endless cooperative runner to a zombie typing showdown, each title presents something unique for everyone to enjoy. Vs Chat Pack is available through the Steam store now, and any Twitch streamer can pick it up to start configuring their respective streaming settings.
Vs Chat Pack: The Streamer Versus the Audience
As aforementioned, Vs Chat Pack includes four games wrapped up into one title. Predicting Vs Chat, Running Vs Chat, Typing Vs Chat, and Drafting Vs Chat are the featured interactive games that the streamer and/or audience can choose from. Evidently, the participation comes from both ends, with the streamer working as a lone wolf while the viewers work together to win.
The Four Included Games
Predicting Vs Chat works out like a game of wits and strategic planning. Players assume the role of a Sphere, a combative shape with abilities whose only goal is to eliminate the opposing Spheres. Before each round, players will choose their Spheres, where they’re then thrown into an arena to see who comes out on top. Whoever musters the most points from eliminations by the end will win the game.
Running Vs Chat is the endless runner where viewers can establish multiple obstacles to throw off the running streamer. While the main player can hurdle over these with ease, it’s the teamwork amongst the viewers that can knock out the runner.
Typing Vs Chat invites viewers to be zombies who merely saunter toward the surviving streamer. However, instead of pointing and shooting, the player must type out each viewer’s name that comes their way. Additionally, you’ll have to type ‘reload’ if you find yourself wielding an empty clip.
The Drafting With Chat game replaces the “Vs” aspect in lieu of a more cooperative experience. This one is a deck-builder, where both the streamer and their audience join forces to battle 10 troublesome enemies. The viewers create and select new cards for the streamer to either use or remove. Keep in mind each card will be stamped with whomever’s name created it, just in case someone attempts to betray you.
Vs Chat Pack is available now for Twitch users through the Steam store for $14.99. In celebration of the launch, there’s currently a 10% discount (priced at $13.49) that will end on October 20. So, if you’re a streamer looking for more ways to play with fans, this package might be for you. If that’s the case, lend us your thoughts on the Vs Chat Pack launch in the comments.
