The finale of season seven of the The Walking Dead is finally here. The hype train for the Walking Dead has certainly been going full steam ahead these past few days. All types of headlines regarding the finale have made their way onto the internet. Andrew Lincoln said the finale was “incredibly satisfying” while Dania Gurira described it was “heart-stopping.” Given that The Walking Dead takes place in a world where…the dead walk, one might venture to say it’s all “heart-stopping.” Get it? Did you chuckle? You should have. If you didn’t, perhaps you’re…dead inside. Did that do it? Are you smiling yet? Alright, let’s get on with it.

Sticking around for the finale?

Which character will die is currently a trending topic on social media in the season seven finale. It’s fairly safe to say that Sasha is a shoe-in for at least one death. From there, it’s really anybody’s guess on who might kick the bucket. In last week’s “Something They Need” we heard from Negan that a little birdie told him that Rick was up to no good. It certainly seems likely that we’ll see some type of backtrack and Gregory is actually the one that was giving such news. Given what we’ve seen from the preview, Negan is none too happy and headed to Alexandria to set Rick straight. While the preview leads us to believe that Sasha may align with the Saviors, it’s a safe bet that this won’t be the case.

The other wildcard of this Walking Dead finale will be Dwight. He showed up in Alexandria and expressed his desire to see the world rid of Negan. While last week’s episode did end with Rick pulling his gun on Dwight and tell him to get on his knees, it’s highly unlikely Rick would waste potential valuable intel. Dwight also continues to play a very vital role in the comics after the war with the Saviors concludes, therefore it’s unlikely we’ll see him killed.

All the story telling throughout season seven, all the tension, it all comes to a head here. Since this is the finale, no pre-screeners were sent out for this episode. Therefore, our review should be up within a few hours following the episode. If you have any predictions, be sure to let us know in the comments below.
